# Montricher Gliding Club (Vaud)

Gliding is similar to the flight of large birds of prey that glide on the air currents. It is a perfect blend of technical skill and the power of nature that provides exceptional sensations: the joy of flying, the ultimate experience of being carried by thermal currents, a total sense of freedom and serenity, and the feeling of being at one with nature.

### What is gliding?

Gliding is the realization of Icarus’s dream. It is an extraordinary opportunity to feel like a bird, in harmony with nature. It is also an environment of sharing.

### Can we take a passenger flight?

Of course! It’s always a great pleasure for us to share our passion. Come experience the thrill of freedom and leave with your eyes full of dreams!

### Is it hard to become a pilot?

Absolutely not. Almost anyone can become a pilot. The magic formula for becoming one is:
"A little bit of a dream, some perseverance, and above all, a lot of fun"
