He got into the glider with an instructor… and came back down without him. Don’t worry: it was all part of the plan! Congratulations to Melvyn on his very first solo flight.

Tom, an English pilot who recently joined the club, has just passed his exam to convert his UK license to an EASA license.

Airfield Bus Rescue Operation
For some time now, our bus hasn't been starting up, so it couldn't be used at the head of the runway. Everyone loves it with all the gear on board and the tent that provides welcome shade during this heat wave. Bob carried out the rescue operation, and the “patient” is cured and up, running again!

Radio Frequency Changes in Basel
With the frequency spacing set to 8.33 kHz instead of 25 kHz, some frequencies have changed.
