What to Expect During a Club Visit

Here’s a general overview of what to expect:
You arrive at the airfield and are greeted by a club member.

We’ll show you the gliders, explain the day’s activities, and discuss the weather conditions.

Depending on what you’d like to do, you can watch, ask questions, or get ready for a flight.

And if you’re lucky, you’ll see the gliders taking off and landing one after another—a spectacle in itself.

Discover gliding in Montricher with the Groupe Vaudois de Vol à Voile. Located at the foot of the Jura Mountains, our club offers introductory flights and passenger flights for a unique experience of freedom. Our flight school (CFVVM), certified by the FOCA, provides comprehensive training to help you obtain your glider pilot license (SPL). From basic training to cross-country or mountain flying, join a community of enthusiasts in the heart of the canton of Vaud. Open to the public every weekend from March to October.
